The story is about two close friends who grew up loving the Getai culture, an art form involving drama and song that has a historical tradition in Singapore. After being blessed by the Getai goddess, they become the country's most popular Getai duo, the Papayas. However, their competitors, the Durian sisters, are jealous and determined to sabotage their performances.
