Those walls of sleep probably refer to the bags under the eyes of Edward Furlong. I must be crazy or something, but I really enjoyed this low-budget film. Despite Furlong's mediocre acting.
It is just so delightfully over-the-top insane, bizarrely crazy. I love that rough edge that so many filmmakers try to smooth away to try and appeal to a broad audience. Screw your audience. This is how Lovecraft intended it: cheap and filthy, bonkers and insane. Yeah, go see this!
If you're such a wimp, like "oh no, this is a B-movie, boohoo," then just don't bother. Go watch Scream or another lame, within-the-lines horror movie. Don't say I didn't warn you. But are you up for getting thoroughly fucked outside the lines by a WTF movie with questionable effects and equally questionable acting? You can't miss this one.
