Una Vela para el Diablo plot
Two sisters run a hotel, where some guests, especially young women, are systematically liquidated. One day a young mother arrives with her child. When after a while the mother goes missing in the hotel, a British tourist, who is also staying in the hotel with her boyfriend, decides to investigate.

Two pious sisters run a guesthouse, but struggle quite a bit with the changed morals: topless sunbathing, miniskirts, unmarried mothers. The second victim turns out to be actually Dutch!
It seems to drag on a bit too long, but the resolution still manages to pick up the pace, although the thriller element could have been utilized a little more. The sisters themselves take up most of the screen time, but fortunately remain believable characters.

The film's strongest asset is the two sisters, one meaner than the other. Unfortunately, the kills are soft and the story remains somewhat superficially developed. The tourist investigating a missing person lacks charisma. It could have had a bit more punch. I found the ending to be a letdown. 5/10
