Triloquist plot
In an old motel, a mother commits suicide in front of her son and daughter. The two then have to live with a perverted uncle, along with their mother's scary doll. When the latter dies, they go to Las Vegas, because the daughter, like her mother, wants to become a ventriloquist. The son no longer talks, but lets the scary doll speak for him. When the boy is eventually locked up in an institution after murdering a child, he is taken out by his sister. And together with the doll, who seems to be getting a life of its own, the deranged duo embark on a bizarre road trip.
