What mediocrity in this slasher. Let me start with the good points first, the action is nice. The killer is lightning fast, there is a lot of chopping and sawing with knives. The beginning is also certainly exciting and I thought it was cool that a kind of legendary status was built around "trick". So far it has all exceeded expectations. I also liked the interview with students, which really gives you an idea of GVD, they are not going to catch this murderer.

However, after 20 minutes the film starts to treat you as a viewer like a total idiot. I'm not going to waste too many words on it. Obvious traps are laid that the police of course constantly fall for with their eyes wide open. And come on, there's nothing more annoying than predictable shit like this, right? And the film continues with that. The officers go from one surprise to the next, like "ooh, the light suddenly doesn't work anymore". Then someone hangs around somewhere as a bait and then officers stand in front of them for a long time like: "Are your girls okay?" so that the killer has plenty of time to arrive from any angle with a murder weapon. It really makes you simple.

And then ultimately the kind of legitimation why the killings happen is really a crime that they can only think of in the US. 2 stars and quickly forgotten.

Quite a nice smooth slasher that seems unbelievable given the execution of the kills, which immediately brings you to the punchline of the story and fortunately this is correct, which makes it all a little more logical. There is plenty to enjoy and the intro is definitely good. Quite a few kills, just a pity that at the end one of them has to be alive again. 6/10
