Toire no Hanako-san plot

Mizuno Saeko starts the first few weeks at her new high school with a smile. She soon learns the superstition about the evil spirit Hanako who is said to live in the girls' toilets on the second floor of the school. According to the sinister story, the young girl Hanako went to look for her mother, but was kidnapped and brutally murdered where she now lives. Legend has it that if anyone sees Hanako's terrifying apparition, someone from the school will soon be killed. However, Saeko once walked in and out of the toilet unsuspectingly, leading others to think she was possessed by Hanako.
