Todeloo plot

Germaine, toilet lady at Kortrijk station, is visited by inspector Mettepenningen, a tax inspector. In an inimitable way, this good civil servant calculates 546,000 euros in hidden income. The good Germaine is also confronted with only nerds who have set up a drug trade in the toilets, and Kortrijk is also ravaged by a serial killer who cuts women to pieces.

Special Flemish film about a serial killer in the toilet at Kortrijk station. A bit of a lousy job with poor and forced acting. Here and there I did see the humor in it. It is that humor - mainly of an absurd nature - that adds that extra bit of salt and pepper to the film.

Not that it's all that great. Lots of dialect too, perhaps less accessible than for our northern neighbors. Had never heard of it before, but all in all glad to have found it. Floating between 2.5* and 3.0*.

Nice to see Bert Gabriëls, the standup comedian, at work here.
