James (James Davidson) wakes up in the middle of the woods, with only a vague memory of how he got there. What he remembers is that he experimented with drugs with Sara (Sara Jones), a young student, and ended up getting entangled in the Toad Road. This is a route in the forest that leads through seven gates to eternal damnation, or 'Hell'.
