Things plot

When a man leaves after visiting his girlfriend in a motel room, the man's wife enters and forces the young lady with a gun to listen to two stories. The first story is called The Box and is about three hookers who buy a theater in a small village to use as a brothel. The mayor is disappointed and wants the whores gone. He decides to use a strange thing, which is in a box, to get the whores away. The second story is called Thing in a Jar and it is about a woman who keeps having nightmares that her husband is beating and abusing her. A friend tells her to leave her husband, but it's not that easy.
