The daughter of an elderly old man may be the victim of the 'Wailer', a murderer who broke out of prison. After learning from a psychiatrist that she might still be alive, he moves to Mexico. There he comes into contact with a daydreaming taxi driver and together they investigate the legend of La Llorona, the demonic spirit of a dead woman, whose crime against her children, she drowned them for love of a lover, cursed her restless soul to remain on Earth. to wander around.
