The Fall of the House of Usher plot
A traveler arrives at the User family estate. He finds the residents, Roderick and Madeline Usher, haunted by a curse that has been passed down through generations. Roderick is extremely sensitive to stimuli, while the ailing Madeline is nearly catatonic. During his stay, the visitor witnesses the unfolding of the curse, leading to a disastrous climax.
