Stoneborn plot

Hee-jin returns to her hometown with her sister Eun-soo following the sudden and presumed suicide of their younger sister. There, they encounter their younger brother and their domineering mother, who has been venerating a large, centuries-old stone on the outskirts of town for years. At the funeral, Hee-jin meets a shaman named Eul-seok, who is also devoted to the stone. In the days that follow, increasingly disturbing events begin to unfold, while an invisible presence slowly draws closer. While Eul-seok insists that her younger sister's restless spirit is to blame, Hee-jin senses a much more sinister truth.
