Samakdo plot
During the Japanese occupation of Korea, the Samakdo sect disappeared following a mass suicide. Chae So-yeon, a producer of a socially critical program, receives a tip one day about this sect that left behind a bloody prophecy. The sect is said to still exist in a remote village, where shamans are reportedly performing rituals to prevent the prophecy from coming true. When the reporting team arrives in the village, So-yeon realizes that the prophecy has already begun...
