In fourteenth-century Italy, Isabella is accused of witchcraft and then burned at the stake. Her husband goes in search of the secrets of eternal life, and six hundred years later manages to bring her back to life, through an occult ritual and sacrifices of virgins. Once back to life, Isabella, who now goes by the name Maureen, wants to continue her old practices.
