A fashion model is murdered on a Caribbean island. The victim's sister and her boyfriend go on an investigation after it turns out that something isn't right with the police investigation. For reasons unknown to me, released on the giallo-focused Shameless label.
A scientist finds it fun to mess with nature and creates the "Rat Man". A sort of Lilliputian who is half human and half rat.
This creature goes on a killing spree, which provides a bit of blood here and there, but no real gore to speak of. In addition, the squeaking mutt simply fails to be scary. Partly because of this, the jump scares are also few to none.
In addition, the acting is not of a very high standard.
