Patient plot

Rachel becomes paralyzed after escaping a cult whose other members committed suicide. Lying in a hospital, she is terrorized by the ghosts of the dead, evil cult members. She will have only one week to live. The ghosts also curse Rachel's voice. Anyone who hears Rachel's voice will die. In this way, the ghosts are sure that Rachel is keeping their secret. The only family Rachel has left are her brother Jesse and his son Alex. It soon becomes apparent that the ghosts are now after Alex. They are willing to take possession of his soul and then leave Rachel alone. Rachel will now have to find a way to protect her family and herself.
