When a disgraced surgeon moves to a small town with his family, he soon realizes there is a dark secret from which no one is safe. He deals with his own demons and tries to come to terms with the death of a patient on the operating table that he caused while under the influence. The city is populated by werewolves who make the rules, but not all of them are to be feared. Many of them are just trying to live their lives, but others are out for blood.
