The female wrestler Lucy no longer wants to play in the Mexican wrestling circus and wants to start a new life with her boyfriend. At the same time, a mad professor is conducting an experiment to heal his sick son and gives him the heart of a gorilla. Unfortunately, the boy turns into a dangerous monster and starts killing.

Surprisingly, I was particularly captivated by the story of an unstable doctor who will do anything to save his son from death.
This with all its consequences: the son changes into a ape with a lust for blood and female nudity. The park scene in particular is a classic, in which 'the monster' kills a man in a way that was particularly bloody for that time. This is to then assault the girlfriend, in which of course the necessary nudity must pass by. I really like the addition of the (female) Mexican boxers and the opening scene is one to frame.
Clearly low budget, but still seems like they made the effort to make the best of it. A sleazy B-filmm that managed to entertain me just fine.

Pleasant surprise! Nice story to follow with for that time quite bloody and brutal murders. Also quite a bit of nudity where the ladies may be seen. The role of the doctor was convincing, I found the agent who investigates the drama less. 7/10

A Mexican production indeed. Not so remarkable in itself with the wrestling culture that has crept into the film. Even the monkey (or whatever you call it) seems to be a wrestler with a mask, a luchador for the initiated.
The ape is of course completely derailed and is completely lost after a medical experiment with a human and a real gorilla. Everyone who comes his way has to believe it and that makes it somewhat worthwhile. A bit of nudity here and there and some gore, but that is all quite bearable.
A film also in different phases although they repeat themselves largely. At the end I had a King Kong feeling on that apartment block. Not bad, but not really memorable.
