Kaibyô Noroi Numa plot
The vassal Nabeshima Naoshige kills his lord Takafuse Ryuoji to take his wife and power. To escape her fate, the widow drowns herself along with her cat in a nearby swamp that has since been known as the Cursed Swamp. Ten years later, Naoshige makes another attempt to steal a woman, initiating the curse that prevents him from escaping the consequences of his evil deeds.
