Infection plot

"Not of this earth..."

A meteor carrying a dangerous alien virus crashes in the small town of Lawton, California. Just after midnight, Larry Jenkins, a local farmer, stumbles upon the object and contacts the police. Lawton's small commission is overworked because of the annual prom and they send Inspector Bardo on the case. When the agent disembarks on a deserted forest road, he discovers that Jenkins has been infected by the alien organism. The agent also falls prey to the virus. Both men make their way to Lawton and infect everyone they meet.
