When two young couples get lost, the strange clown Captain Spaulding tells them the story of the legendary Dr. to hear Satan. Jordandejong has actually put everything here that I would have liked to type, so I agree with this.
Would like to add that I always watch this film together with the sequel (the devil's rejects), as if it were 1 long film. This makes the experience really fun. Think the second half is better yourself, which is the only reason it gets 4.5.

Zombie is therefore not quite my director. So far only seen this one and 31 of him, and 31 I didn't like either. I think the director is also a heavy metal singer, and he clearly shows that in this film.
Let's start off well, he looks good. Otis and Captain Spaulding play well, and Spaulding was a joy to watch too. Someone who clearly enjoys his role, and the actor is also cut out for it. The decor didn't look like much but clearly a lot of thought has gone into it.
Sheri Moon is super annoying, that stupid smile of hers got tired after 45 minutes. The rest is also disappointing, sick yes, but good no. There is a lot of violence, but no effective violence. I didn't feel the vibe either. Must be from another planet as I see a lot of good reviews. Well.
