Helloween plot

In 2016, many people take to the streets as creepy clowns. Psychiatrist Ellen Marks, along with investigative journalist John Parker, tries to discover what's behind this. Marks' patient, the notorious child serial killer Carl Cane, orchestrates the events from a psychiatric hospital and spreads his evil through letters and signals. When Cane orchestrates a murderous escape, Ellen must race home to save her two daughters.

The clownish serial killer Carl Cane escapes from a mental institution and takes up his old hobby again. Helloween is a relatively short film, which is fine. It introduces an interesting villain who unfortunately finds himself trapped in a rather unsurprising horror film. A predictable story. Flat characters. Not exciting. Not explicit. Not very atmospheric. A TV movie level. Villain Carl Cane deserved a better film.
