I also doubted a few times to put it on, always let it pass, while I do like the genre and have no problem with Polish films/series, there are already some on Netflix and already seen something that I liked it best. I think the Slavic countries and languages have something to say, I like to hear the language.

Just saw this one and I just thought it went well, nice atmosphere, the typical exorcism elements and okay nothing innovative, but that doesn't make a film immediately inferior. It's just a good one in this horror subgenre. The atmosphere was good immediately and okay the first half hour it all needs to really get going, but even then, I wasn't bored, after that we went full on the exorcism tour, as it should be and he looked away nicely. I also thought the ending was a bit of a letdown. Just a nice 7/10.

Bartosz M. Kowalski, the director of the diptych Nobody Sleeps in the Woods Tonight, disappoints with this exorcism film. The story is slowly built up to a surprising climax and has a special atmosphere created by the nasty monastery with all its dark corridors. Yet it doesn't work because on the one hand the story doesn't really captivate and on the other hand it lacks the necessary tension. The final scene manages to unpack, but is rather laughable. 4/10

Nice gloomy horror piece from Poland, well made and beautifully portrayed. The plot unfolds rather slowly, but the grim atmosphere and bizarre events keep the attention well. All this works towards a memorable climax.
