"The Dead Are Waiting, Do You Believe?"
Stefan invites his daughter Jennifer to Romania for his mother's funeral. His mystical friend Liz also travels with them to the cursed village of Pelosoara, where they are welcomed by Vladimir, Stefan's brother. Jennifer finds the residents very peculiar people and discovers that she is the only woman in her father's bloodline. At the funeral, a strange man asks Jennifer to meet him in the village square. When Jennifer arrives at the meeting point, she sees the man she was meeting with being devoured and murdered by a strange creature.
