Hoax Busters is a film team that shoots fake videos. The members head to Oregon to bond and meet Craig Eubanks, an outdoor guide who joins them on the trail. During the same period, a government drilling company is allocated a plot of land on which a family has been living illegally for more than thirty years. When the family is attacked by the staff, the Hoax Busters find themselves in the midst of misery.
