In the summer of 1999, twelve-year-old Dallas Kyle recorded footage of the mythical Frogman, but no one believed it was real. Twenty years later, Dallas, now an amateur filmmaker struggling to turn his passion into a career, returns to Loveland with his friends Amy and Scotty, determined to get irrefutable proof that the Frogman exists. But what starts as an innocent documentary quickly turns into a Lovecraftian nightmare as Dallas discovers the horrifying secrets hidden beneath Loveland's idyllic surface.

During a family vacation in August 1999, Dallas [Nathan Tymoshuk] accidentally captured the wondrous creature of the title on camcorder. Nearly 25 years later, he is a struggling filmmaker and no one takes his story or his footage – which is floating around on YouTube – seriously. To prove his own point, Dallas decides, with the help of friend and cameraman Scotty [Benny Barrett] and his ex-girlfriend Amy [Chelsey Grant], an aspiring actress, to definitively prove the existence of the 'Frogman'. The key may lie with George [Jack Neveaux], who already managed to take a photo of 'Frogman' in 1975. The umpteenth rip-off of The Blair Witch Project in which the alleged scare effects consist of screaming and extremely jerky and vague images. Amateurish trash even dares to explicitly refer to King Kong (1933)!
