"Discover what lies behind the cellar door."

Looking for a fresh start after suffering a miscarriage, Sera and John move from the city to the suburbs of Portland, Oregon. While visiting the grand mansion of Emmett, a mysterious man with a knack for matching the right home with the right people, the couple is suddenly given the house of their dreams with one unconditional condition—they must never open the basement door.
