The year is 79 AD. In Pompeii, the young Glaucus is in love with the beautiful Jone, although he is courted by Giulia and the blind slave Nidia is also in love with him. One day, Glaucus is falsely accused of murder by Isis's priest, Arbace. He wants to marry Jone and help Giulia. Glaucus is sentenced to be eaten by lions in the arena.
