An old witch from the Ukrainian town of Konotop has renounced her powers after falling in love with a mortal man. When war breaks out and Russian soldiers occupy the town and brutally murder her beloved, she decides to take revenge on them. She recovers her powers and subjects her fiancé's killers to gruesome and bloody reprisals.
