The Terror of Hallow's Eve plot
15-year-old Timmy Stevens is beaten up at school by other students on Halloween. Timmy, eager to get revenge, is carving a pumpkin. Unbeknownst to him, this awakens an evil spirit. The ghost offers Timmy to scare the bullies. They are then found dead one by one.

Effective fun that has something in store for most horror fans. Only the acting isn't quite up to par, but director Todd Tucker puts his behind-the-scenes experience to good use, creating a highly entertaining concoction that combines practical effects with imaginative touches. From the start, a smooth atmosphere is established, which transitions nicely into a thundering horror in the second half. Even with a limited budget, a fun environment is built in this way, in which the characters meet their ends in creative ways. The final fifteen minutes are somewhat superfluous, and the Trickster perhaps lacks a bit of charisma, but The Terror of Hallow's Eve still offers enough to stand on its own two feet.
