Kappa plot
After world-famous photojournalist Yuta Suzumori (Tastuya Fuji) spent ten years sick in bed and reunited with his son Toda (Ryûji Harada), he begins to tell him about his secret. Toda, who had heard nothing from his father all this time, listens carefully to what the man has to say. Yuta's body is getting weaker and weaker, he doesn't have much longer to live now... "When I was a kid I saw a 'Kappa' (Japanese mythical creature)!" Yuta Suzumori used to live with his father in Kitagawa village. The memories of forty years ago, when Yuta experienced something miraculous in the Kitagawa swamp, all seem to be coming back...
