Il Primo Natale plot
Although Salvo describes himself as a proud atheist, the thief enjoys stealing sacred works of art. Of course, unlike Salvo, Father Valentino firmly believes in God and swears daily prayers. Opportunity makes the thief, as Salvo probably thinks when he tries to steal the precious statue of the baby Jesus from the pew just before Christmas. But he is caught by the priest. What follows is a turbulent chase through a field that ends abruptly with a jump back in time. They end up in Palestine, in the year 0.
