A fairy tale about the adventures of a beautiful but temperamental farmer's daughter, Isabella, when she meets the bad-tempered Spanish Prince Rodrigo Ferrante y Davalos. The King of Spain has ordered Rodrigo to choose 1 wife from 7 Italian princesses, but he is impressed by the local peasant daughter. With the help of witches and saints, Isabella conquers the heart of the prince after many skirmishes.
