Barbe Bleue plot
Catherine tells her sister Marie-Anne the well-known, scary fairy tale of Bluebeard. In this story she introduces herself as Marie-Catherine, Bluebeard's newest wife. Bluebeard is a rich, blue-bearded nobleman who tests his wives to see if he can trust them. He gives them a bunch of keys, containing one key that they are not allowed to use. If it turns out that they do use the key, he kills them.
