Vuk Samotnjak plot
The story is set shortly after World War II. Ranko lives with his family in a mountain village. One day he finds a large dog trapped in a trap. He frees the animal and both become close friends. However, the people in the village think that the dog is a dangerous wolf and want to kill him.

A good children's film about a shepherd's son who befriends an abandoned German Shepherd, "Hund." Meanwhile, the mountain village is plagued by hungry wolves who might fancy a local sheep. But "Hund" has nothing to do with that. Perfect for children and, by extension, for the whole family, it's kindhearted and focused on respect between humans and animals. Moreover, it's filmed in a beautiful setting reminiscent of simpler times.
