The Right Connections plot

A retired pop star gets the chance to make a comeback when he helps a group of kids with financial problems. Their father has left them, their mother is at work and the tax authorities are at their doorstep, so the kids decide to enter a hip-hop contest to win money. A chance encounter with Kik N Back Flash (MC Hammer) and a lovable taxi driver (Melissa Joan Hart) gives them 'the right contacts'. They still have six days to go, but it will be six that none of them will ever forget.
