The Love Master plot

David believes he's killed a man in a fight over his dog, Strongheart, so he flees to a small town far to the north. The only girl living there is an orphan, Sally, and David falls in love with her. Strongheart decides to seek love himself and lures Lady Jule, a female sheepdog, away from a pack of timber wolves.
