The Light in the Forest plot

In 1764, Colonel Bouquet makes a peace treaty with the chief of the Delaware Indians, Cuyloga. Part of the treaty is that the Delawares release all their captives. Among them is Cuyloga's adopted son Johnny Butler, who grew up among the Delawares. Reluctantly, he returns to his white parents and has great adjustment difficulties.
