The Legend of Catclaws Mountain plot

Mindy goes to a local petting zoo with her parents and grandmother. There she falls in love with Angel, a temperamental pony, whom she adopts. According to legend, the special pony will lead her owner to gold hidden in the nearby mountains. When Angel is kidnapped by a crazed treasure hunter, Mindy and her high school friends head to the hills to rescue the pony and search for the lost gold. During the adventure, Mindy is confronted with an ancient curse surrounding gold that could mean the end of the beautiful forest.
