The Clue of the Missing Ape plot

After sea cadet Jimmy Sutton rescues a pilot from a burning plane, he is rewarded with a vacation to Gibraltar. There he meets the girl Banda and together they discover a plot to harm the monkeys living on Gibraltar. Legend has it that Britain will have to leave Gibraltar if the monkeys disappear there. They report this to the authorities, but the children do not believe them. That's why they're going to try to stop the villains themselves.
