Snuf de Hond en de IJsvogel plot
A Bed & Breakfast has come up on the Vredehoeve with the possibility to rent boats. Tom and Mirjam go on holiday with one of those boats, 'De IJsvogel'. They go to various annual markets. At one of the markets, Snuf sees two boys, Niels and Jimmy, who are pickpocketing on behalf of their father. One night the two boys break in and the resident sees the two boys and their dog Loebas running away. The owner suspects Tom and Mirjam, whom he saw behaving suspiciously that day at the fair, and goes to the police. They are then wrongfully imprisoned. With help from Snuf, they escape to prove their innocence.
