Rupert Patterson Wants to Be a Super Hero plot

Nine-year-old Rupert Patterson lives with the firm belief that he is a superhero, with the goal of protecting the inhabitants of his village from all evil. The people around him suffer more than they benefit from his rescues, but that all changes when he tracks down a dangerous bank robber. Nobody believes his story, so he is left on his own to catch the crook.
