Around 1930, the sensitive Evelyne Droste leads a safe life. After all, she is married to the respected lawyer Kurt. The children are looked after by a governess and a nanny and Evelyne feels redundant. But then she meets the American Frank Davies at a party and her passion and vitality return. Finally, Evelyne accepts Frank's invitation to spend a secret weekend in Paris. But while Evelyne puts her safe life on the line, this may just be an adventure for Frank…
