Parandeh Baz-e Kouchak plot
11-year-old Behrooz doesn't just like little birds; he can also imitate their singing perfectly. When his father is caught in a smuggling operation, he ends up in prison. Behrooz's mother soon has no money left to buy anything. A bird dealer proposes to hire the boy so he can help catch birds. Behrooz also comes in handy when it comes to sales. He hides in a cart and lets out a beautiful whistle. Customers think that the birds produce this sound and therefore pay more for it. The trader is satisfied with his new assistant and even pays in advance. A girl from Azerbaijan has crossed the border with her mother to do some shopping at the market and buys a bird that cannot sing. The next day, her mother wants to exchange the animal for one that does sing. It turns into a big fight in which Behrooz is discovered.
