Paganini Strikes Again plot

Self-proclaimed amateur detectives Mike and Bill get stuck in the elevator on their way to music class. They hear a gunshot and see a pair of yellow shoes rush past. When they hear that a jewelry store nearby has been robbed, they are convinced that the one with the yellow shoes is the culprit. However, the police do not take their testimony seriously at all, so the boys start their own investigation.
