One day, Meister Eder, a furniture maker, discovers that his workplace is haunted. His tools disappear, things fall over and someone mixes everything up. It turns out to be the fault of Pumuckl, a small wisecracking goblin. Somehow he made a mistake. He stays with Meister Eder, who is the only one who can see him.
