Karo und der Liebe Gott plot
When her parents divorce, it hits 8-year-old Karo hard. She decides to ask God for help via her walkie-talkie...and God answers. He agrees to meet. In reality, God is an alcoholic old man, but to Karo it is clear: He is God. A friendship develops between the two and they come up with all sorts of plans to get Karo's parents back together. They get help from Lizzy, a girl from the neighborhood, whose parents are also divorced.
