Kalif Storch plot

With the help of a magical powder, Caliph Chasid and his Grand Vizier Mansor hope to transform themselves into animals. The only rule is very simple: you can't laugh, otherwise you can never turn into a human again. They take the form of storks and before long the two have already broken the rule. And they've forgotten the magic word that turns them back into people. The blame for all this lies with the wizard Kaschnur, who planned it all so that his son could become ruler of Baghdad.
