Emil und die Detektive plot
Emil's father loses a job opportunity when his driver's license is confiscated. During the summer holidays, Emil is sent to his aunt in Berlin, but not before he takes 1500 marks from his locker. With this money Emil wants to buy a new driver's license for his father. On the train, the cunning Mr Grundeis takes the money from him. In Berlin, Emil gives chase to this man and gets help from the cheeky girl Pony.
