Das Märchen vom Frosch und der Goldenen Kugel plot

Brothers Gai and Teo are professional deceivers who hope to strike big when King Theoderich receives suitors for his firstborn Griseldis. Gai pretends to be the heroic prince of a fictional kingdom and aces his tests against real princes Arne and Tassilo. However, Gai falls for the younger Princess Matilda, who suspects their scam. Teo decides to steal the enchanted golden ball that Theoderich cherishes above all else, because it is the only souvenir of his beloved second wife.
